The firm's Construction Law Group conducts a nationwide practice representing owners, contractors, and design professionals in matters arising from private and public construction projects.
We routinely advise construction industry clients in bidding issues, contract negotiation and contract formation, contract administration matters, labor issues and ERISA matters. Also, the firm advises and represents clients in the development and in the litigation, arbitration, and mediation of construction claims. The firm is actively involved in the "Big Dig" in Boston, which is the nation's largest public works project in process. We develop, present, and defend construction claims on behalf of owners and contractors throughout the United States in state and federal courts as well as before boards of contract appeal.
Our attorneys are active in state and national construction trade groups. We lecture before numerous industry groups and trade organizations on construction law, and are frequent lecturers for the Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education, Inc. and often instruct other attorneys on construction law. Our attorneys are frequently invited by the firm's clients to lecture, instruct, and provide practical advice to construction executives, project managers and project superintendents. Additionally, our attorneys have authored numerous books, articles, and seminar papers on subjects dealing with construction law and construction claims and litigation.
